Consultancy of the Year

Savings Guru was named runner up in the 'Consultancy of the Year’ category of the 2019 British Bank Awards on Thursday 7th March.  The Award was won by 11:FS who create digital propositions for banks.  Founder James Blower, commenting after the Awards, said: “It’s a tremendous honour to finish runner-up in the Awards to finish ahead of global heavyweight consultancies such as Deloitte, CapGemini and Capco.  Congratulations to 11:FS on winning and a huge ‘thank you’ to all our clients, website users and supporters who nominated us and voted for us.”

Savings Guru to speak at CACI Savings Conference

Founder James Blower will be a key note speaker at CACI’s annual Savings Conference to be held on Tuesday 19th March 2019 at the Wellcome Collection Conference Centre in London.  

Following a successful appearance in 2018, James has been invited back to address CACI members.  

He will be talking about the future of the savings market and the impact of new entrant banks to an audience of around 120 delegates representing retail savings providers from across the UK.  Also presenting are Nationwide’s Nathan Miles and CACI’s Mark Edwards.

On Wednesday 23rd January 2019, James Blower was a guest on the This is Money podcast alongside presenter Georgie Frost and Daily Mail Consumer Affairs Editor, Lee Boyce.  In the ‘Savings Special’ James and Lee discussed a host of savings topics and the show will air on Friday 25th January.

Savings Guru is a finalist at the British Bank Awards

We are thrilled to announce that Savings Guru has been shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘Consultancy of the Year’ category at The British Bank Awards.  The firm is up against industry heavyweights Deloitte, Cap Gemini, Capco and 11:FS.

The British Bank Awards recognise the best products, hottest innovation and most trusted financial brands and are seen as the ‘Oscars' of the banking world.

The Savings Guru to speak at CACI Savings Conference

Founder James Blower will be a key note speaker at CACI’s annual Savings Conference to be held on Wednesday 7th March at the Wellcome Collection Conference Centre in London.  

James will be talking about the future of savings to over 70 delegates representing retail savings providers from across the UK.  

Also presenting are Simon Betteridge, Savings and Propositions Director at Barclays, who will talk about changing consumer behaviour in the savings market and CACI’s Mark Edwards, who will present a view from CACI’s database.
